Nordic Walking Coach: What the MØNARC® Approval Changes
In a Nordic walking session, every question ends up coming back to the same person. It is towards you that eyes turn when a member arrives with different equipment, and the arcs de marche are no exception to the rule: what does the curve change in the push, what size to choose since it cannot be adjusted, should the movement be adapted. The approval training exists precisely to give you those answers.
Two days in the field
The MØNARC® approval is prepared over two days of training, in the field, with Nathalie Gilbert, a Nordic walking instructor whose teaching content is followed by thousands of practitioners, or Jean-Pierre Guilloteau, a state-certified mountain leader. On the programme: getting to grips with the arcs and what their integral curve changes in the biomechanics of the push, the choice of size, the correction of the movement, and the integration of the curved poles into a club session, with exercises directly reusable with your groups.
What the approval is not
A commitment to preach for a brand. Your teaching remains your own, your members keep walking with the equipment of their choice, straight poles or arcs, and that is exactly as it should be. The approval adds a string to your bow: when the question comes up in a session, you answer it with precision, demonstration in hand.
What it changes for your club
One MØNARC® approved coach is enough to make their club eligible for the Partner Club label, with its €30 reduction per pair of arcs for all members and its group prices. Your two days of training become a lasting advantage for your whole collective, and an argument your president will know how to use at the next enrolments.
The label also opens the door to the rest of our two ambassadors' catalogue. Nathalie Gilbert and Jean-Pierre Guilloteau grant preferential conditions to Partner Clubs on all their courses, and not only on the approval training: technical courses, improvement weekends, mountain stays. You can send a fellow instructor, return yourself to work on a specific point, or take a group of members along.
The next session
It takes place on 10 and 11 October 2026 in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, in the Var. Places are reserved by email at enjoy@monarc-nordic.com, and all the details are on our dedicated courses page.
The whole programme is detailed on the MØNARC® Partner Club page.
